- Nagi - a young woman curious about the power she has within her. Her Zoanthrope is the Spurious/Half-Beast.
- Reiji - a destructive young man on the run from the monks that raised him. His Zoanthrope is the Crow.
- Ryoho - a strong man who contains the sealed Dragon Zoanthrope. At the game's start, you can only play as him with Mana as an assist. To play as his solo form, he must be unlocked. His Zoanthrope is the Dragon.
- Mana - a young Shinto miko determined to protect her temple. She is only playable as an assist to Ryoho. Her Zoanthrope is the Ninetail
